Will the Florida Gators bounce back from rough loss this Saturday?

As we all know the Florida Gators had a rough outing against the Miami Hurricanes with 5 turnovers and a 21-16 loss. The question is, “Can they bounce back and continue their winning ways?” We will indeed find out on Saturday as they will be at home to open up SEC play against their bitter rivals the Tennessee Volunteers. This is a team that has Florida has defeated eight straight times seeking a ninth straight win. Tennessee had Florida’s number last year in Knoxville going into halftime with a 14-10 lead, or at least they thought they did, but the Gators limited the Vols to only six points in the second half to win 37-20 outscoring Tennessee 27-6 in the second half in the victory. Now it’s 2013 and the Vols are 2-1 with wins over Austin Peay 45-0 and Western Kentucky 52-20, the loss was against the #2 Oregon Ducks 59-14. The Gators are 1-1 with a win over Toledo 24-6 and a loss against Miami (FL) 21-16 and they are coming off an OPEN DATE. So given that entire information can the Gators bounce back? The answer is YES!!! Their next three games are against the Vols in The Swamp, in Kentucky to take on the Wildcats, and back in The Swamp to take on the Arkansas Razorbacks, those games should be wins. My prediction for this game will be the Florida Gators winning 31-17. First of all, the Gators have had a week off unlike the Vols who were ABSOLUELY DESTROYED by Oregon. Secondly the Gators defense is staggeringly better than Tennessee’s, and can very well shut down their offense, and thirdly the Gators have proven that they can play with the big boys, while the Volunteers haven’t, they were given an opportunity to play one of the big boys and were clobbered viciously. Gators are ranked 19th and the Vols are UNRANKED not even receiving a vote in the TOP 25 in EITHER one of the polls.
