Black Eyed Peas concert in Miami

By Jennifer “J.Sandladiva” Sandoval

I had a feeling that this concert was going to be a good good time… and it was! No disappointment on my end at Sun Life Stadium on Wednesday night for the Black Eyed Peas Final Concert. We even had a few special treats!!!!We began the night Sean Kingston looking healthier than ever and really giving the crowd great vibes singing all his hit and even sending a special shout out to Ms. Nicki Minaj before performing “Letting Go (dutty love)” —–I personally was expecting her to come out (Sigh)——–

Right after Kingston we heard some auto tuning that instantly let us know that it was Mr. Teddy Penderass aka T-Pain and he came out ready to get the party started. He came out dancing and even belted out some auto tuneless vocals. I must say he has an amazing voice! His high energy definitely got the crowd going and dancing around.

Then came out the very adorable Jason Derulo ready to keep the party going. He did some of his beginning hits like “Watcha say” and “In My Head” to his latest hit  “It Girl” Jason left us pumped and ready For “The Lady Killer” himself Cee Lo Green.

OH MAN is all I can say about Cee Lo’s performance! Cee Lo apparently had some special surprises in store for Miami starting out by bringing out Miami’s own Trick Daddy to perform “Dro in da Wind.”

That was not the biggest surprise he had first up was bringing up GOODIE MOB!! This was an epic event but the cherry on top was the Cee Lo and Queen Latifah (who was also the host of the night) Freestyle!

Now it was time for the main event for what I personally had been waiting for all night long The Black Eyed Peas.  They came in with an amazing light show and ready to “Rock That Body.” With out a doubt the concert was full of high energy, awesome costumes, great dancers and killer music.  I expected this to be an emotional show since it was the Final show of the tour and it was!

It started with Will I AM doing a DJ Set and talking about his beginnings with his best friend Then to singing the song he wrote about his home of the Philippines and his foundation. The most touching moment came from Taboo bringing out Mama Taboo and expressing both in English and in Spanish how grateful he was to have her. They kept the concert going to a little past midnight not the Black Eyed Peas or their Peabodies wanted to leave!  They stopped the music said a great thank you (felt like a million times) and asked for all of the crew to set up for a group picture. It was an amazing night in Miami and couldn’t have had started my Thanksgiving weekend any other way!
