Run in the BlueCross BlueShield Turkey Trot

There’s no better way to get ready for the big Thanksgiving meal than running in a race. Miami participates in this national Thanksgiving tradition by offering the BlueCross BlueShield Turkey Trot at Tropical Park. Runners may run either a 5K (3.1 mile) or 10K (6.2 mile) course. Preregistration is encouraged.

There are many organizations that prepare and serve meals to the less fortunate on Thanksgiving Day. There are plenty of opportunities available. If you can’t find a place to volunteer on Thanksgiving, use this time to sign up for other opportunities to help on less popular days of the year.
