Effective May 1, 2013, Biscayne‐Brickell route will be extended to The Design District and divided in to two separate routes (Brickell Route and Biscayne Route)

The trolley runs every 15 minutes from 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sundays.

The MTV Movie Awards was different but entertaining. This year’s host is Rebel Wilson did a good job as a first time host. James Franco predicted well. Many memorable moments, and kinda disappointed that Robert Pattinson wasn’t there. Not even a a peek. Rebel Wilson didn’t disappoint.

For 786, Pinky Gomez had 45 points in 10 jams and Killah Vee had 42 points in 6 jams.

This was the first real bout for the former freshmeat: Battlestar Valkyrie, Sally That Girl, 50 Shades of Pain and Peggy Bundy. They all performed fantastic.
 
Team 786 had the majoriy of the penalties with many cut-tracks, out-of-plays, and elbows thrown. 786 also had some of the bout’s biggest hits. Team 305 had much less penalties and, though having a less-experienced line, won the bout thanks to their great communication and skater rotation.

Miami’s Vice City Rollers

O, Miami is a biennial poetry festival in Miami, FL. Produced by the University of Wynwood with principal support provided by the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, O, Miami creates a series of events and projects with the simple goal of every person in Miami-Dade County finding a poem during the month of April. Mixing traditional readings with innovative poetry-in-public-places projects, the festival weaves poetry into the fabric of the city’s existing infrastructure and cultural life.

Spring is nature’s way of saying Get Sprung! On March 9th, the producers of Grovetoberfest will launch Sprung! – a true spring and summer craft beer festival like no other.

The idea behind this event came from the South Florida craft beer enthusiasts who were among the 6,500 in attendance at Grovetoberfest 2012. Sprung! will give beer fans the opportunity to sample over 150 spring and summer craft beers, which are considered to be some of the best seasonal beers of the year. Beers from breweries like Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn Brewery, Kona, Magic Hat, Shiner, Shipyard, Harpoon, Blue Moon and many more will be showcasing their spring and summer offerings. Sprung! will also host a complete lineup of Florida beers from Schnebly, Cigar City, Tequesta Brewing and Florida Beer, to name a few. In addition, the lineup includes a complete list of ciders, including Crispin Cider, Magners and Woodchuck. As an added bonus, event goers will be treated to a selection of beer from Sweetwater Brewing including their summer beers not available anywhere in South Florida. Sprung! will also offer a homebrew section featuring brews created by local beer lovers.

There will be a dedicated section for games including Corn Hole, Giant Jenga, Beer Pong, Mega Twister and Human Bowling — complete with large, plastic balls big enough to hurl a person for strikes! “We’re going to continue focusing on our mission of expanding craft beer in South Florida, while adding seasonal beers and sprinkling a little more fun into the mix. The atmosphere at Sprung! is meant to be fun and spirited,” said event director Tony Albelo. People will still get to enjoy live musical entertainment and plenty of food vendors offering a wide variety of food.
