Cover band playing a variety of hit music for any occasion!!
Ground Control is a high energy rock band that covers hit songs from the 70’s to today. We get the crowd going by playing what the people want to hear. We are a six piece band consisting of vocals, two guitars, bass, drums, and saxophone. All of our players are professionals with a deep passion for music. With our versatile sound we have formed a strong local fan base. With our thrashing guitar riffs, funked out slappin’ bass lines, rock solid rhythm, ‘in your face” vocals, and sexy smooth sounds of the sax, we guarantee to rock the house.
GC-3-940x556From an old dusty drum set in a garage, to playing some of the top venues in South Florida, Ground Control (GC) has swept the local band scene off its feet. In a short period of time this group of musicians led by drummer Danny Montecelo has demonstrated true versatility and unprecedented song selections as a cover band. Their music takes you on a trip through time where classic jams blend in with modern hits. It’s a perfect formula for a good time. Singer Pablo Urquiaga brings a high energy passion on stage that is unmatched. Lead guitarist Mitch Cutler demonstrates incredible feats picking away at his guitar while guitarist Leon Cuervo keeps the band in a flawless rhythm that will have you snapping your fingers or stomping your feet. Javier Enrique, GC’s bassist offers a tight foundation with his solid thumping that keeps him and drummer Danny Montecelo on perfect timing. One of the latest additions to Ground Control is saxophonist and percussionist Daniel Abreu.

Whether they are playing a local bar or a high end corporate event, this band knows how to please a crowd.
