WMC will deliver another 10 non-stop days and nights of music programming including two full weekends of events and parties.
WMC’s Director of Operations & Development, Kirk Paskal, explains:
“Last year’s WMC Week was a resounding success with over 2,100 artists and DJs performing at 133 venues in Miami Beach and Miami. As part of our longstanding mission statement, we strive to assemble electronic music’s most legendary and innovative artists and professionals from across the globe. Our program is all about building new inroads for the advancement of electronic music. Featured presentations like last year’s Q&A with IDMA Lifetime Achievement recipient Nile Rodgers (in advance of the release of his epic new collaborations with Daft Punk and Avicii) along with young trailblazers like R3hab among many others are always an inspiring affirmation for what we do. We continually aim to raise the bar in service to the artists, industry and music enthusiasts that make electronic music one of the world’s most dynamic cultural communities.”
WMC’s music industry panels and seminars will be presented March 24 – 28, 2014 at the Miami Beach Convention Center (MBCC) in the hub of South Beach’s vibrant art deco resort and clubbing district. WMC will be expanding its music trade show and exhibit area centered on EDM trends, music and gear to be presented March 24 & 25, 2014 at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
