The Dolphins offensive guard Richie Incognito is in trouble with the latest allegations of him having punched a security guard at the Fontainbleau hotel, in Miami Beach. On June 10th, at Club Liv, Incognito and a group of his friends were trying to take a closer look at a performer when hell broke loose. One of Incognito’s friends pushed a security guard, which started the fight. An NFL source stated that Incognito punched and knocked out a security guard, even though the police report makes no mention of it. The Fontainbleau hotel has a videotape of the incident, but is unwilling to release it and NFL has not seen the video. It can become an issue for Richie Incognito and the Dolphins, if the altercation violates the NFL’s personnel conduct policy. The Dolphins can’t afford starting left guard Richie Incognito to miss games, since the offensive line is a concern for the Dolphins coaching staff. The Dolphins were aware of the altercation, but they tried to bury it and make it feel as if it weren’t a big deal and hopefully NFL does the same.
