The Dolphins o-line still a work in progress especially with the departure of LT Jake Long to the ST. Louis Rams. Miami Dolphins, still have questions regarding the o-line projecting the staring o-line LT Jonathan Martin, LG Richie Incognito, C Mike Pouncey, LG John Jerry, and RT Tyson Clabo. That is accordingly to the Dolphins current depth chart, but I question that lineup and sure Dolphins fans would do the same. The Dolphins projected LG John Jerry miss camp yesterday because of an undisclosed injuring, but I wonder if it’s because of weight issues.

If you recall John jerry had always struggled with his weight, recall last year during camp? John Jerry reported to camp 30 pounds overweight and in the hard knocks episode John Jerry was seeing throwing up several times. The Dolphins coaching staff was using words like “Catastrophe” and “descending fast”. Eventually, John Jerry got his weight under control starting 16 games at right guard, but coach Philbin warn him about his weight issues. The Miami Dolphins was able to lure Lance Louis from the Bears to complete against John Jerry, at the right guard position.

In place of starting right Guard John Jerry was plugged in Dallas Thomas, who was drafted in the third round by the Miami Dolphins and coaching staff would like to see how he perform. It will be interesting today, who will start at right guard position with the first teamers and would this lead to the Dolphins releasing John Jerry? Today, it will be day six of Dolphins training camp and if projected starting right guard John Jerry is not on the field. It will only open the door for Lance Louis or Dallas Thomas and it will be interesting how this plays out.
