The Dolphins drafted Ryan Tannehill in last years NFL draft with the 8th overall pick hoping that he would become the franchise quarterback Miami has been looking for since Dan Marino. In his first year, Ryan Tannehill showed what he is capable of in week six against the St.Louis Rams. Tannehill went 21-29 185 yards and threw for 2 td. Also, he posted similar stats in week 15 against Jacksonville and week 16 against Buffalo. He also had his worse game in week one against the Houston Texans were he threw for three interceptions, but it was his first game in the NFL.

Ryan Tannehill is heading to his second year in the NFL with the addition of Mike Wallace, Brandon Gibson, and Dustin keller. This year Ryan Tannehill will have the weapons he didn’t have in his first year, if he continues improving and making the right decisions with the football. The Dolphins may have the quarterback of the future, but only time will tell. Have patience Dolphins fans. Ryan Tannehill has the capability of being successful and the first fives games will determine that.
